In their prologue to Appreciative Work in Schools, Elspeth McAdam and Peter Lang remarked that “the school is at the heart of the future of the community. Elspeth McAdam is a retired child and family psychiatrist who pioneered appreciative ways of working with children, their families and their networks. She supervises, teaches and runs projects for and with young people all over the world. Peter Lang is an author, therapist, educational consultant and Honorary Co-Director of Kensington Consulting Centre.
